There is a Super Hero Inside All of Us: a Cartooning Journey with Captain America

Ages 5 and older, ages 8 and younger with adult.

Vishavjit Singh, a New York City-based cartoonist, writer, speaker and performance artist, will lead a storytelling workshop to bring out the super hero within all of us. He will share his story via cartoons followed by an interactive workshop where the young participating artists will create their own super heroes.

Vishavjit is the creator of Sikhtoons.com and a Creative Arts & Diversity Fellow at the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, an advocacy organization based in Washington DC.

His work is currently featured in an exhibit, 'Wham! Bam! Pow! Cartoons, Turbans and Confronting Hate' at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience in Seattle which runs through February 2019. The Seattle Times published a feature covering the exhibit and his work, Sikh Captain America Fights Intolerance & Bigotry.
