Description

Thought to be the most-watched movie of all time, The Wizard of Oz is a cultural phenomenon unlike any other. With memorable characters The Scarecrow, The Lion, and The Tin Man hounded by the Wicked Witch of the West while they try to help Dorothy (and her little dog, too) get to the Wizard so she can get home, the story is captivating and inspiring.

Film Historian Lance Rhoades will discuss  how M.G.M.’s Technicolor musical adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s book has sent generations of fans “over the rainbow”!
