Barely Tolerable Tales

7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

For adults.

Presented by The Cresswell Club.

We cordially invite you for a series of live readings throughout the fall season, pairing tales of horror and the occult with recipes for cocktails to mix and enjoy while you listen.

The Cresswell Club began as a series of Halloween and Walpurgis-Night ghost story readings with friends and family in New York City, and was continued by the Carpenter Brothers when they moved back to their hometown of Seattle.

Drink Selections:

#1 Pink Gin

Angostura bitters

Splash a generous few drops of Angostura bitters into an old-fashioned glass and tilt it around until the inside is coated. Shake out any excess. Pour in the gin.

#2 The Pallid Mask

2oz young Mezcal

1oz dry vermouth

1oz green Chartreuse

Stir with ice, then strain into a cocktail glass. Squeeze a sprig of rosemary over the top and throw it in as a garnish.
