Growing Food on a Budget

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Description

For adults.

You can grow your own organic food without spending a fortune! Now is a great time to plan your edible garden for spring and summer. Join Lisa Taylor, author of the Maritime Northwest Garden Guide and Your Farm in the City: An Urban Dweller’s Guide to Growing Food and Raising Animals in a lively exploration of growing food on the cheap. Growing your own organic food improves personal health, increases food security and helps us maintain seed sovereignty.

Identify the essential tools for successful gardening and where to find them at a price that won’t blow your budget. Practice organic gardening techniques that conserve water, protect the environment, and produce abundant crops that aren’t expensive.

Please register. A Zoom link will be sent to you by email by 1pm the day of the event.
