What does it mean to have a "purpose mindset"? How can organizations inspire people to focus on their community and extend the common good? Join a conversation with Dr. Akhtar Badsah, author of Purpose Mindset.

Dr. Akhtar Badshah is the Distinguished Practitioner and Associate Teaching Faculty at the University of Washington and the Founder and Chief Catalyst at Catalytic Innovators Group where he advises individuals and organizations to catalyze their social and philanthropic investments. He is also the founder and curator of Accelerating Social Transformation, a mid-career professional development certificate course on social impact. Dr. Badshah led Microsoft’s philanthropic efforts for ten years, where he administered the company's community investment and employee contributions. Dr. Badshah serves on the boards of Microsoft Alumni Network, Global Washington (Chair), and The Indus Entrepreneurs, Seattle. He is an accomplished artist and a doctoral graduate of the Massachusetts Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Badshah and his family are active philanthropists in the Seattle area.
