The Everlasting Harvest: Growing a Year-Round Edible Garden

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

For adults.

Eat from your yard and garden all year. Join garden educator Lisa Taylor, author of the Maritime Northwest Garden Guide and Your Farm in the City: An Urban Dweller’s Guide to Growing Food and Raising Animals, in a spirited discussion about growing vegetables year-round.

Explore the Maritime Northwest planting calendar and learn how to organize the garden to grow more food. Identify varieties that thrive in our climate and add nutrition to our table. Also, investigate food preservation strategies so that thrifty gardeners can extend the harvest throughout the year.

Please register. A Zoom link will be sent to you by email by 1pm the day of the event.
