由Youth Eastside Services主办的中文免费讲座为大家更针对性的提供有用的信息。Youth Eastside Services作为西雅图Bellevue本地的青少年咨询专业非营利性机构和Eastside学区紧密联系, 有着丰富处理青少年的心理健康,中美文化差异和家庭关系的经验,最重要的是让很多华裔家庭认识了心理咨询。

讲者和内容简介:Ann Chen是宾夕法尼亚大学心理咨询硕士。Monica Wang 是哥伦比亚大学心理咨询硕士。她们拥有华州心理咨询师执照,在本地YES(Youth Eastside Service)从事4-22岁孩子的心理咨询工作,为很多亚裔,华裔家庭的孩子提供心理咨询服务。作为在第一线和孩子交流的咨询师,她们有着一手的经验,深知中美文化差异对家庭环境和孩子心理健康的影响。希望可以为Eastside的华裔家庭提供更完整有效的帮助。

This presentation provides parents with information and tools to support children and teens during COVID and transition back to school. Explore emotional and behavioral responses, challenges of online academic performance, and ideas to strengthen family relationships. Learn about KCLS student resources, such as Study Zone Plus.

Join Youth Eastside Services (YES) for a free lecture in Mandarin that will provide parents with targeted and useful information. Youth Eastside Services is a local nonprofit that offers counseling services for youth and is closely connected with school districts on the Eastside. YES has rich experience in dealing with youth mental health, cultural differences between China and the United States, and family relations.

Ann Chen has a Master's Degree in Psychological Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. Monica Wang has a Master's Degree in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University. Both are licensed as psychological counselors in the State of Washington, and work for YES (Youth Eastside Services) with children ages 4 to 22, providing counseling services for many Asian and Chinese children. They are aware of the impact of cultural differences between China and the United States on the family environment and children's mental health.
