Silver Kite Arts: Newspaper Planter Pots

Do you have a stack of newspapers sitting at home? Want to explore ways to re-use or upcycle them? 

Celebrate the beginning of spring by making a garden container made out of newspaper! Make and decorate two different styles of seed-starting newspaper pots.

Supplies Needed

2-3 sections of a newspaper
Masking tape
Scissors
Cup or glass 3 - 5" in diameter
Marker

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Silver Kite Community Arts is offering daily online inter-generational workshops, talks, social hours and performances FREE for KCLS patrons. We hope that by offering these opportunities, we are providing stimulating creative engagement opportunities and social connections during this challenging time. These workshops last approximately one hour.
