Rent Smart: Moving Out of Your Current Rental

Presented by Solid Ground tenant Counselors.

Thinking about moving out? Learn everything you need to know about:

  • Getting your security deposit back
  • Tying up loose ends at your old rental
  • Dealing with rental debt due to your old landlord
  • Documenting the physical conditions of your house or apartment
  • Terminating a month-to-month lease
  • Breaking a fixed-term lease.

A visiting attorney from the Tenant Law Center will also be on hand to help with answering questions.
