Building and Protecting Your Credit

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Description

For teens and adults.

Presented by Hopelink

Unravel the mystery of getting and keeping good credit with a Hopelink Financial Coach.

Explore ways to build or rebuild your credit, and learn how to protect your credit in the future.

When people talk about having “good” or “bad” credit they’re usually talking about their credit history or scores. Knowing how credit histories, reports and scores work can help you take steps to build a positive record. That positive record can help you reach your goals by potentially lowering costs for borrowing money and paying deposits on utilities and cell phones.

You will receive a Zoom link to attend the event. Video and call-in options available.

This is the third workshop in a three-part series. Register for each workshop separately.

Closed captioning is available for online events. Captioning is auto-generated. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request for all events. Contact the library at least seven days before the event if you need accommodation. Send your request to access@kcls.org.
