In Conversation with Artist A.O. Hamer

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Description

For adults and teens.

Hey creators! Bring your questions to an inspirational evening with artist A.O. Hamer. Hear about her work in acrylics and her liberating journey from nurse to full-time artist. Learn how to build a community of supporters on social media and Patreon, banish imposter syndrome, and enter the age of the artist.

Aramis O. Hamer is a visual artist and muralist in Seattle, WA. Her large-scale, acrylic paintings are inspired by the cosmos, music, nature, divine femininity, and the complexities throughout the Black culture. Aramis has exhibited her colorful creations throughout Washington state. She also painted the “V” in Seattle’s Black Lives Matter mural. This self-taught, Neddy Award winning artist lets her imagination be her guide. Learn more about Aramis’ work at aohamer.com
