Math Club: Core Math Algebra (Study Zone Plus)

Description

Math Club volunteers provide games and activities to help students exercise their math skills. Classes are by recommended grade level, but students may attend lessons on any topic they want to work on.

September 22: Simplifying Expressions
September 29: Order of Operations & Intro to Equations
October 6: Solving Equations
October 13: Intro to Solving Inequalities
October 20: Inequality & Equation Word Problems
October 27: Two Variable Linear Equations
November 3: Slope-Intercept & Point-Slope Form
November 10:Intro to System of Equations & Graphing Method to Solve
November 17: Substitution & Elimination Method
November 24: Closed
December 1: Solving Inequality Equations
December 8: System of Inequalities
December 15: Introduction to Functions
December 22: Closed
December 29: Closed

Study Zone Plus

Study Zone Plus provides academic support programs in Zoom format. Additional services include volunteer tutors, math support, ESL/ELL conversation practice.

Study Zone Plus sessions are supervised by library staff. Visit Study Zone Plus for the Terms of Use Agreement and steps KCLS is taking to maintain a safe and positive online space.
