Over the last three years, the Washington Poison Center has observed a substantial increase in intentional adolescent self-poisonings. Youth are living in unprecedented times as they continue to face new and ongoing challenges to their mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

These trends reinforce the importance of being aware and taking action to help adolescents in our lives. In this session, learn about the Poison Center's perspective and trends on adolescent self-harm and suicide, as well as key prevention strategies to reduce harm among youth in your lives.

Registration not required. Safety guidelines and current protocols followed.
