Get reading and letter recognition support for students in grades K-8 from volunteers. Reading support is also available for ELL/ESL.

Reading Buddies have access to online books to share on-screen.

Connect to Zoom using your computer, tablet or smartphone. 

Click on the 'Connect to Reading Buddies and Kids and Teen Talk Time' box and then click the 'Join Zoom meeting' link. If this is your first visit, request “Reading Buddies Welcome”. For returning students, request “Reading Buddies level …”  and your level. For special Level 1 books for grades 3-12, include your grade.

Study Zone 

Study Zone provides academic support programs in Zoom format. Additional services include volunteer tutors, math support, ESL/ELL conversation practice.

Study Zone sessions are supervised by library staff. Visit Study Zone for the Terms of Use Agreement and steps KCLS is taking to maintain a safe and positive online space.
