Rent Smart: Evictions and Terminations

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Description

Are you being threatened by your landlord or property manager with eviction? How does one get evicted and what are the reasons and causes for an eviction? What is an unlawful detainer? How can I terminate my lease?

Get information on tenant’s rights when confronted with an eviction or termination of their tenancy. Join Solid Ground tenant counselors along with legal representatives to give insight on what your tenant’s rights are under the RLTA.

A visiting attorney from the Tenant Law Center will also be on hand to help with answering questions.

If you are currently living in King County and being threatened with eviction, contact the Housing Justice Project for legal assistance at 206.267.7069 or hjpstaff@kcba.org.

Please register. You will receive an email with a Zoom link 24 hours before the event. You can also connect to this program by telephone.
