Description

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, join an all-ages Knowledge Quest.

Pick up the questions and hints at the front desk.

Ages 10 and younger will search for images, while ages 11 and older will answer questions using QR codes or library computers. Complete the quest and earn a small prize.

Additional Information:

Learn about Native American culture and history by exploring the library to find images and answer questions. Engage with resources such as QR codes and computers.

Through activities like discovering the Canoe Journey, the West Seattle Story Pole, the Treaty of Point Elliott, and the Duwamish Longhouse Seal, gain insights into Native American art, history and language. The quest also highlights ongoing efforts for tribal recognition and the preservation of Indigenous languages like tʷəlšucid (Lushootseed).
