SilverKite Community Arts: Storytelling with Collage

Description

In this workshop participants will create a simple but evocative collage and write an imaginative story inspired by its imagery, composition, textures, and emotion. The facilitator of this workshop will walk participants through how to approach this creative process. Facilitated by Cooper Perry.

Supplies:
-Collage materials: magazines, newspapers, photos, coloring book pages, construction paper, etc.
-Multi-media paper
-One glue stick
-Scissors
-A piece of lined or printer paper
-A writing utensil of choice (pencil, pen, or marker)

SilverKite Community Arts offers online inter-generational workshops, talks, social hours and performances FREE for KCLS patrons. We hope that by offering these opportunities, we are providing stimulating creative engagement opportunities and social connection. These workshops last approximately one hour.
