Explore the vibrant world of colored pencils as you learn to blend colors! This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through techniques for blending colors, building texture, layering and experimenting with the rich, painterly qualities of colored pencils. Facilitated by Valencia Carroll.

Supplies:
-Colored Pencils (a basic set with a variety of colors)
-Drawing or Mixed media paper (9x12 inches or similar size)
-Blending tools (blending stump, soft cloth such as a paper towel or Q-Tip)
-Pencil and eraser
-Pencil Sharpener

Optional:
-Reference photo for inspiration

SilverKite Community Arts offers online inter-generational workshops, talks, social hours and performances FREE for KCLS patrons.
