Coding with Python: Foundation Skills

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Description

Calling all curious coders! This online workshop series introduces middle schoolers/high schoolers to the exciting world of computer programming using Python. Designed for beginners, the sessions focus on building a strong foundation in coding while keeping things fun, interactive, and creative. Through hands-on projects and step-by-step activities, participants will learn the basics of Python, including:

  • Writing and running simple programs
  • Using variables and data types
  • Understanding loops and conditionals
  • Working with functions
  • Problem-solving with code

By the end of the series, students will have the skills to create their own small projects and the confidence to continue exploring programming on their own. No prior coding experience is needed—just bring curiosity and a willingness to learn!
