Rent Smart: Renting with an Eviction on Your Record

5:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Description

Many tenants fear that once evicted, they’ll become houseless and won’t be able to rent in the future. This webinar will focus on how you can still rent with an eviction on your record – and other options to potentially help renters.

Join Solid Ground tenant counselors to find out:

  • Detailed information on obtaining an Order of Limited Dissemination (OLD) and how it works.
  • How the OLD process works.
  • Other options that could work for tenants when they can’t get an OLD.

A visiting attorney from the Tenant Law Center may be available during presentations for general legal information. Legal aid resources are shared during the presentation as well.

If you are currently living in King County and being threatened with eviction, contact the Housing Justice Project for legal assistance at 206-580-0762 or hjpstaff@kcba.org.

Please register. You will receive an email with a Zoom link 24 hours before the event. You can also connect to this program by telephone.
