Micro Memoirs

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Federal Way 320th

Description

Transform a single sheet of paper into a personal treasure. Participants will follow prompts to unearth a memory to render with words and imagery, and then assemble a mini book, called a zine, from their materials. Through writing, drawing, and collaging, you'll document a moment that shaped you, no experience necessary. Walk away with a zine that's uniquely yours and techniques to keep your stories flowing!

Learn about the 11th Annual Washington State Zine Contest and how to participate.

Sarah Maker is a book artist who believes that everyone has a story to tell. She founded Editions, Seattle's center for book arts, in 2017.
