Join us for a powerful conversation featuring Indigenous authors and climate specialists sharing perspectives on environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and the role of ancestral knowledge in shaping sustainable futures. 

Speakers include Tsx’vilum (Free Borsey) of the Lummi Nation and First Nation We Wai Kai and Darrell Hillaire of Children of the Setting Sun Productions, alongside Muckleshoot leaders Wayne Buchanan of Muckleshoot Tribal College, Freedom Bill and Adrian James, Forestry Technicians in the Tomanamus Forest.
Moderated by Dr. Denise Bill of Muckleshoot Tribal College.

A Q&A will follow the panel and book related crafts for all ages after the panel discussion.

This event is part of KCLS’s Climate Action Plan engagement efforts and centers voices from communities most impacted by climate change. This is co-created with the Muckleshoot Tribal College and Children of the Setting Sun Productions.
