This is an amazing series. It’s not QUITE my favorite, but that’s only because I’m a bit above the target age level. I really love how this shows good morals, such as accepting everyone, kindness, courage, and love. I wish more books could…

Fans of witches, wizards and magic will love this funny story that features wonky magic, friendship, tough family friendships, and being true to yourself. A great gateway story for younger readers who will grow to love books like Harry…

Up Side Down Magic books are great for kids, we have listened and read all the series several times as a family.

There are so many people of color in this book about ten-year-olds! But also there is magic and shapeshifting in this book.

I think this was a great book and I would give it five stars. It puts you in the shoes of someone who doesn’t fit in and feels like she must, but in reality, its better to be different. I recommend this book to anyone who loves magic,…

My 8-year-old granddaughter likes this series so I decided to read it too. The beginning was slower for me, but I really liked how the main character adapted and found a way to work with others to control their powers. I can see why my…

This book is a little more serious than the Whatever After series, but it was a good book. Nory and her classmates magic is unusual. They have to learn how to accept that everyone is different and learn how to use their powers.

This book is kind of kiddish for me but I still enjoyed it a lot. This series is about a group of kids who have wonky/upside-down magic. There's Nora the shape shifter that mixes up animals, Elliott can conjure up some fire only for it to…

This book is a rather unsubtle trifle about embracing what is different and special about oneself rather than trying to fit in with the cool crowd. But the writers (three of them? Seems a little excessive for a children’s book) give us an…

I think this book is a great and magical read. Magic is the main action in the book, but it is not at all like Harry Potter, and so it is a very original book. I recommend this book if you like magic and friendship stories.

Nory's father may be the headmaster of the prestigious Sage Academy, but Nory has none of the same magical abilities. She has magic alright, but it's all "wonky", as they say. She is supposed to be able to at least morph into a kitten at…

" this book is good because the main character Nory can turn into animals. Everything goes wrong." Review submitted by McKinnon Bailey for the Minecraft Book Review Raffle.
