I've read Drama a few times and it's a very good book. I would recommend it for kids who are 10-15 years old. I love the drawings and it's really well-written.

Honesly I feel like this Graphic Novel should be in the teen section due to all the LGBT romance involved. Devinatly not a book for 4th or 5th graders and should only be read by 7th graders and older. Otherwise the book is OK but can get very cringy.

Drama was disappointing after reading Smile and Sisters - excellent 4th and 5th grade girl books but this was too much kissing and transgender dating for 4th & 5th grade - definitely 7 - 8th grade level!

Callie loves theater and nothing makes her happier than designing sets for the school plays. But this year there is a heavy dose of Drama added to the performance when two cute brothers fall into Callie's social circle. This graphic novel perfectly encapsulates the confusion about boys in middle school. Do they like me? Do they not? What is going on?!?! I'm a little late to review this, since it came out in 2014, but I totally get what the hype is about. I really enjoyed it!

As a former drama geek, I found this book to be relatable, witty, and warm. Only I wasn't nearly as brave as Callie is when I was in drama class. When I didn't get the part I wanted for the school play, instead of feeling proud of working behind the scenes on the stage crew, I dropped out. Now, as a middle-age mom, I look back on my drama days and wish I'd had friends like Callie to cheer me on. Highly recommended for tweens and teens (and growups, too) who are interested in theater, realistic fiction, or graphic novels.

Callie, is a complete theater geek. There's just one problem; she can't sing. So instead she's part of the production and loves making sets. For the school's production of Moon Over Mississippi she's overflowing with ideas about what to do. As the play takes up most of her and all her friends time they practically spend all their time in the theatre. She meets lots of friends on the way (and loses a few too) as she's trying her best to put on the best production possible. Will it work it? And will she admit her feelings to her crush?

Callie loves theater. And she would totally try out for her middle school's production of Moon Over Mississippi, but she is a terrible singer. She has two new gay friend but they are brothers. she starts to have a crush on them, but then they turned out to be gay. At the end of the story she became the producer which is the leader.
