Hmm... Honestly, this just seemed really the strange. The 'Jedi' lessons at the end of each chapter were bizarre. The writing too. Other than choose your own adventure books, this is the only book I've read set in second person. Personally, I do not identify with Luke Skywalker at all, so Luke being addressed as "you" was a little strange. The verb tense at other points, like with Han and Leia, was also a bit unusual. For example:
"Suddenly she's kissing him, then whispering in his ear" Instead of the
"She kisses him and whispers in his ear" you would usually see in a present tense book. The story and dialogue varies from the movie, but from the point of view it's not terrible. A complaint, though, the author skips over Han and Leia's fight and just about every other interaction they have, which is described as "Mushy Stuff". Despite all the critiques I have, it wasn't actually that bad.

In this book the main characters are Han Solo, Chewie, R2-D2, C-3PO, Princess Laya, and Luke Skywalker, along with the Rebellion and the Empire. Han, Chewie, the droids, Laya, and Luke are best friends that were brought together by the nature of the war against the Empire.
The book starts off with all of the friends at a rebel base. When Luke gets lost out in the tundra, Han goes out to find him. He finds him just in time to get back to base and figh the Empire. The gang of friends gets on Han's ship, the Millenium Falcon. While on the ship, Han and Laya get in a fight, probably because they are love birds.
Next, Luke goes to Yoda the jedi master because he is learning to be a jedi. The rest of the friends went to the city in the clouds where Lando, the man who gave Han Solo the Millenium Falcon, was.
I think you will love this book because it is fun and you will feel like you never want to put i down. It is always exciting and there are lots of funny parts. I give this book five stars. I love this book.
