"Some men thrive on scandal. Lord James Hamilton, heir to the Duke of Abercorn and newly appointed attendant to the young Prince of Wales, is in no rush to find a wife and take on a more responsible life. A lover of all things pleasurable, James has earned his reputation as a rakehell of London. But when a feisty beauty piques his interest, James finds himself obsessed with learning more about her, and even contemplates making her his own. Lady Anne Curzon-Howe has long been besotted with her dear friends' handsome elder brother, James-ever since the moment he compared her to a wild Irish rose. While Anne has many suitors, the elusive James is the only man who draws her fancy. But Lord Hamilton's rakish ways are notorious for a reason, and convincing him to love only her will be an incredible-albeit rewarding-challenge"-- Provided by publisher.

This is the worse prince I have ever read about. All through the story I kept shouting were is your spine? Grow some Ba$$s sucker. hahahahah! seriously this dude has no back bone, he is so not a real man. what would this fool do without James? Too much of the story-line was about him, and is childish, immature. selfish, ways...and is I want it all attitude. I kept reading because I wanted to know how the two main characters Anne and James love and romance played out. When it finally happen I wasn't disappointed.I was swept off my feet with there romance. James was sweet, romantic, loving and tender. I fell in love with James, now that is a real man....and Anne what a sweetheart, kind, devoted, and attentive young lady. Of all the couples in this entire series they are my absolute favorite couple. I wish they had more scenes together. It took a while for all that to happen...and that is something I am not used to from this author. The truth is this is the first book I read from this author that I had to wait soooooooo long for the two main characters to have there time together. For me she is my queen of historical romance fiction. Henley has written some of the best books, if you haven't read any of her past books from late 90s into 20s give them a try you won't be disappointed. She is truly a great author. Here are a few SEDUCED, ENTICED, DREAM LOVER, TEMPTED, A YEAR AND A DAY, DESIRED, A WOMEN OF PASSION.
