Jihadism is a problem but Dr. Gorka's facts are distorted blames Obama about Iraq and Afghanistan. No strategy to end financial aspect of terrorism. So great ideas but short execution.

This book 90% poor summary of the history of the middle east, seemingly cribbed from other general sources and spun to support a right wing view of the region - including several glaring errors. Five % 'strategy' for defeating jihad - a strategy so bland and worthless it reads like an essay written by a freshman who didn't do the reading for the course. Finally, five percent conclusion.

If this is the only book you read about the middle east, well, you will be sadly misinformed. It is a terrible book.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka teaches special ops troops for our country, based on real experiences of his father and himself. Having LIVED this, he understands this kind of war and the mind of our new enemy. I've heard him speak about this real threat, and hope our next CiC will listen to what he has to say. Our military--our COUNTRY--depends on it!

I haven't read yet this but am familiar with the clueless author: his strategy is mindless and witless as the very first item on a winning agenda is TO STOP FINANCING THE JIHADIS, to stop allying the US government with the head choppers of Saudi Arabia. This is pretty obvious to anyone who can pass a sanity test!
