Welcome to the wild world of the Queers! The Queers formed in 1981 by Portsmouth, New Hampshire native Joe King (aka Joe Queer) along with Scott Gildersleeve (aka Tulu), and Jack Hayes (aka Wimpy Rutherford). Their first album, Grow Up, earned the band notoriety within New England, but with the release of their next album, 1993's Love Songs for the Retarded, their following grew even larger. This video features footage of all the live energy and behind-the-scenes craziness of this incredible punk band on a world tour circa 1993 and 2005. Also included are interviews, music videos, and an unreleased animated video. You'll witness all the different lineups with Hubie, Bface, Wimpy, Danny Vapid, and a cast of others. The Queers have spent decades playing with bands and making friends all over the world from Japan to Brazil to Europe-and fans can experience it all!
