This book is really interesting and enjoyable, especially if you are a runner. The author travels the world for a year, immersing herself in the running cultures of several different countries. She meets wonderful people and learns many new ways to train, recover, and enjoy her running. She also discovers many new foods to fuel her runs! I really enjoyed reading about her adventures and insights, and how she used what she had learned when she ran her first marathon.
