I ended up buying the book for a trip and not waiting for it to come to the library. I enjoyed it but not as much as the first book as it seemed there was more focus on human relationships and less on those with the animals. Still an interesting series for a summer read and for relaxing.

A light mystery, funny moments, imagination stretching moments. The main character is a sweet version of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum.
