OKAY Brit comedy series - gave it a try, but the production and humor just didn't work enough for me to watch more episodes.

A delightful TV series from England. The lead character, Hyacinth, truly believes herself to be of the aristocratic set, but she's not - and everybody around her knows it. Her last name is "Bucket", but she insists on the correct pronunciation, "Bouquet". From her accepting but non-participating husband, to her boorish, beer-gut, sit-at-home-and-watch-TV-all-day brother-in-law, the characters in this comedy are, at best, lower middle-class. But Hyacinth does her best to live a posh lifestyle and tries desperately to make sure everyone knows it, including the unfortunate postman, who does his best to avoid interacting with her.

This program originally aired in the early 1990s, but 99% of the humor is timeless.
