I loved every story in here and I was so sad to reach the end. I love me a good Holmes pastiche and these stories are all kinds of perfect. These stories cover lots of ground over the most famous detective partnership in English literature, even including some stories from before they met. There also are a few told from Holmes' diary entries which were a great delight to me. The mysteries are top notch and watching the evolution of the pair of them was also a delight. I can't wait to read this again.

Excellent & in character. There are a couple stories that don't feel quite right, & one that doesn't track well. Otherwise, well-written, & in the short story style of AC Doyle.

Faye's Sherlock Holmes' stories are absolutely astounding. No wonder Strand Magazine published them! Thank goodness this collection has been published and how wonderful that it includes two new stories from Faye.

She does a good job portraying Holmes and Watson like Conan Doyle would have, but she interests a little more humor into the writing.
Very enjoyable, never read a bad story by her.
