The best auther's make you go crazy over the book, even if it is in a bad way. Soman Chainan did this in this book.

The School for Good and Evil is an amazing and beautifully written series by the talented writer, Soman Chainani. The books puts a dark yet intriguing spin on well-known fairy tales, set in an extraordinary and complex world. The fourth installment, Quests for Glory, is possibly the best novel in the series. Full of twists and turns, Quests for Glory will truly have you question what is right or wrong, truth or lie. Although it may seem predictable at first, the story is so well executed that the expected becomes the unexpected. The author hides clues in the book extremely well, and they may seem difficult to decipher at first, but as the plot unravels, you can slowly piece things together to give you an answer that will leave you in awe. The characters are quite diverse and show great development throughout the novel. The characters teach a valuable lesson as well about the importance of trust, faith, and friendship and how two heads are better than one, or in this case, seven. The School for Good and Evil is a must-read series for readers of all ages. 5/5 stars.

Just when you think the trilogy of Soman Chainani’s School for Good and Evil has come to an end, readers and fans are about find out that it was only the beginning of the relentless journey for their favourite characters. Quests for Glory, is the fourth installment in the action-packed series with new and old characters, after reading this book I definitely see a change towards the writing style of the author, as the plot thickens and the characters are pushed over the limit. Comparing this book to the others in the series, I found that the author definitely expressed the concept, that as the readers get older the characters in the novel develop alongside them. Furthermore, anyone who has read Soman Chainani’s other books, know the continuing cliffhanger that seems to be a trend in his writing, is a hook that will always keep readers at the edge of their seats. I highly recommend this novel as it is a must to finally know if Agatha and Tedros ever actually got their “Happily Ever After”, or is it a “Once upon a time” all over again.
