Another wonderful story from Cameron. You just have to love Bella and to cheer her on during her long journey "To Go Home" and to find her human. His tales are always heartwarming and a must for any animal lover. This one is in the tradition of his earlier books and makes you want to wait for the next. Excellent tale.

This is one of the best books I have ever read - it kept me totally engaged! It is told from the point of view of Bella, who just wants to be a Good Dog and share love with her humans, but Fate intervenes and forces Bella on a long and difficult journey. As a dog lover, it made me laugh and cry. Once again, another masterpiece by this very talented author. I highly recommend this book!!!

Cameron gives a highly sweet portrayal from the dogs-eye view of the powerful bonds between canine and human. Along the way, the dog at the center of the story – and the many, many humans who this amazing dog loves and cares for – helps to overcome dysfunctional families, domestic abuse, addictions, mental illness, chronic disease, legal troubles, and basic prejudice, in an Odyssey to Go Home.

This was a very enjoyable story of a dog's journey finding her way back home. Bella is separated from her human and spends two years getting back. Along the way, she helps others with their journey of life. She's a sweet, smart dog and by the end I was misty eyed reading her story.
