When Connor Larkin boards a late night bus in downtown LA, he's not sure where he's going or what he's looking for. Putting his acting career - and his fiancee - on hold, he's searching for something he can't define, a part of himself he lost on the road to success. Once he dreamed of being a singer in the classic style of Sinatra and Bennett. But his lean good looks soon landed him in movies as the sexy "bad guy" - and in the arms of a famous young heiress. Now, with his wedding day approaching, Connor finds himself stepping into the sleepy seaside town of Miramar Bay - where one remarkable woman inspires him to rethink all of his choices.

Such a fantastic read! I can’t believe I’d never read this before, being as big a Bunn fam as I am. Excellent read that will draw you in immediately. Bunn has a way with words that will make you feel just like you are in Miramar Bay.

It's a nice, quick, light read. Heartwarming. Shows the value of being "in community" with people.

A very predictable storyline, with a perfect setting full of nearly perfect people, but an enjoyable read. The author told a straightforward story, no pages of backlash fill, where you forgot what the plot was. A good, fast summer romance.

This was my first Davis Bunn read and it really is a truly 'emotional read.' The author does evoke feelings of maybe wishing one could run away for a while to Miramar Bay! A long wait (2018) to the next Miramar Bay!
