This is an important investigation and documentary of one family's story. It is also what has happened to my family. Our political landscape has been manipulated by extremists. This needs to be understood by every American. Unsubstantiated allegations are NOT facts. It is propaganda. Watch how that is done. Get informed.

how do we explain, "the rise of the left?" Political Correctness??? Must 'the Party' roll on? Is there a closing time for 'the Party?' my dear father, who thinks he's in a musical ( Fiddler on the Roof), keeps apprising me of books about the Kennedy assassinations, which mention (and some, quite heavily so) that the evildoer (note: singular) is one Lee Harvey Oswald. Then he goes off on a tangent about how old he was when these events occurred. I guess he considers himself a soft-Leftie. When those teams took out the Kennedy brothers, he was 33 and a third, and 37, nearly 38, respectively. We were living in what became Shoreline, until a couple of months before dallas occurred. we were in England when it happened. I remember the BBC running tapes of JFK, looking stern and forthright, holding his stiff finger aloft to emphasize his points. He looked a meanie to my--boy's--eyes. My mother sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. I will never forget those dark and somber hours. I don't remember my father, where he was, just my mom and her emotional reaction. She was entirely present to me then: she was a real human being, deeply moved by her sorrow. None of these social manipulation games my father has come to represent to me. These compensations for his false selves. These powerful twistings of others' minds, to get those secret- smile- sadistic- satisfactions. None of that was evident when the Kennedys had life; they must have been inchoate at the time. Then, he was a recluse, like Howard Hughes, except nowhere near as rich. But you didn't want to play him at Checkers! No mercy was shown. Even Hitler had pals. My dad had none. Except for Haydn, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, etc,, etc, etc.,.....................................................................................Beethoven! P.S. "Right-wing, Left-Wing" are labels. the person using them is attempting to make use of you. There is no reality to these no-concepts. Sometimes label users are unconscious of their ignorance; sometimes they are cult followers of some demented genius' teachings. sometimes Great Leaders are not out to get you. Most of the time, they are. Don't let them tell you that 'every politician is the same.' or, ' he flew down from Frisco and injected her with a dose,' or, 'it is what it is.' ' It isn't what it isn't.' Such as history. When you don't mention events, of one 'side,' but you do, of another 'side', then you have lied. it is called a lie of omission....isn't it easier just to read your own propaganda? wouldn't that be known as a society of freedom of choice? everyone with their own information device, as chosen, and no one telling them when and where and how? john and yoko said ' americans choose their leaders like picking out a family pet at the pound.'

This is an interesting look at talk radio as a piece of the puzzle to explain the rise of the right.
