Well done but not what I consider the best of his books. Very thorough.
Well written, and very thorough, just confirmed everything that has been reported over the last 4 years. Incredible to see it actually in print. Its my belief this book should be studied in schools. History has definitely been changed with this (former) president.
I only wish every Republican would read this book. We know that Bob Woodward has written books in the past, and he diligently researches, plans before he puts it in print. Yes it Is subjective, but he is a trusted historian journalist. It open’s your eyes..
Bob Woodward has written a book about a politician that largely avoids politics and focuses instead on personality and leadership ability, for which he gives Trump failing marks. I'm grateful that there were so many bright, competent, rational people surrounding Trump who truly care about the nation and tried to help this president do the right thing in spite of himself. They succeeded in convincing him to do things (criminal justice reform, prison reform, support for black colleges and universities, stopping flights from China and Europe) which he would not have done on his own, although he later took credit for these and claimed they were his ideas. This book is, in many measures, as much about Anthony Fauci, Robert Redfeld, Deborah Birx, Lindsey Graham, Jared Kushner, James Mattis, Rex Tillerson, Dan Coates and many others as it is about Trump, and we owe them gratitude for their service as well as for their candor in speaking to Woodward.
“Trump once flirted with white nationalism. Now it’s a centerpiece of his White House. Modern presidents have rejected white nationalism, but Trump has advanced its agenda.”

“Why hard-core Trump supporters ignore his lies”

This was an interesting read as Woodward tries to keep his balance as he chronicles Trump's time in the White House. The book starts off well, but Woodward noticeably tires in the fourth quarter. There are some fascinating interactions with China and North Korea. It seems the US was on a course toward war with North Korea until Trump befriended Rocket Man thereby saving us all.
CIA asset Woodward is at it again! Although not a fan of Trump, I realize that he has disrupted the Rockefeller Plan -- the Wall Street-directed communist takeover of America! America's China Class, established over the decades since 1973 when Nixon, Kissinger and David Rockefeller met with Mao Zedong and Chou Enlai in Beijing. Remember, in China only the CCP owns all the land and leases it out as they see fit! Exactly what the Owners want here! Tell me I am not the only one who recalls the extraordinary # of deaths under Obama -- $$$$ to ISIS when they claimed to be Syrian rebels -- $$$ to Iran which to kill innocents in Yemen, Syria, Gaza, Iraq -- $$$ for the coup in Honduras, for the turmoil in Ukraine, etc.
You guys ever feel weird when the eggplant emoji whispers esoteric soliloquies about tax reform into your ear?
The last sentence sums it up. "When his performance as president is taken in its entirety, I can only reach one conclusion: Trump is the wrong man for the job."
Guys come on. I know that Trump is not the kindest person, but he has done so, so many good things for this Country. All the Democrats and Biden want is to turn America into a Communist Country. If people like you guys posting these comments about how bad Trump is would just open your eyes, you would how much better and option Trump is than Biden.
