Frogs can be found all over the world and they've been around since Earth was dominated by dinosaurs. But frogs are now in trouble. Thirty-two frog species are thought be extinct, another 25 are classified as "missing in action"-they have either died out or are so rare that no one can find them. Almost another 100 others are critically endangered. In Frog Rescue, you'll meet people around the world who are working to help ensure a future for frogs. Book jacket.

This book is written for older children, but has plenty of information of interest to adult readers. In particular, the book is worth taking out simply for the photo of the frog fossil if you have interest in geology or comparative anatomy. Great book for those who are interested in respecting the environment.
