I actually read the trilogy omnibus, and don't recall where in the trilogy this fit. However, DO recall that collectively the trilogy was totally awesome!

I recommend it, it reminds me of the Warhammer 40K Inquisition thrown back in time. Good stuff, but obviously make sure to read this three part series in proper order.
