This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

We have seen Bruce Willis in similar roles. However, in “Hostage”, he is not playing the invincible superhero of past films. His character has dealt with failure and this makes him human and likeable. The script is good and the movie is worth watching.

As action thrillers go, this one is not bad. You will forget about it in 6 months, however.
