Very, very good collection. Garth Nix is an amazing writer. I particularly liked the 'pick the paragraph' one.

A great collection of shirt stories that will be loved by any Nix fan.

I am generally not a short stories reader but I loved the characters and stories created by Nix in what is a fantastic companion to the Abhorsen series of fantasy novels.

I picked this up because I wasn't ready to leave Nix's Old Kingdom yet. It was completely worthwhile to just find out what happened to Nicholas Syre. Along the way I found myself surprised by "Under the Lake" and "Lightning Bringer". Nix has a great imagination, and it is fun to spend some time with it.
