This edition is set from the 1722 first edition, the only one known definitely to be Defoe's.
In his Puritan tale of sin and repentance, Defoe brilliantly portrays the struggles and paradoxes endured by the self-reliant and crafty Moll Flanders -- one of his most memorable characters, as she attains property and status in a newly individualistic society.

Didn't care for the fact that there were no chapters or breaks in the story which made it hard to pick up and put down. The story didn't wow me, although I did enjoy the end the best, but the repeated tales of her thievery got old, in my opinion.
