This parody almanac prides itself on containing no actual facts, instead spinning a detailed and steadfastly droll hodgepodge of esoteric whimsy. Fans of erudite wit will enjoy this meandering miscellany of "COMPLETE WORLD KNOWLEDGE" and its follow-ups "More Information Than You Require" (2008) and "That Is All" (2012).

This book begins what is (as far as I know) the only trilogy of fake knowledge -- in a bizarre way the Hodgmanic universe remains constant even as the tone of the author slightly shifts from playful pedant to apocalyptic deranged billionaire. If nothing else, the fact that this became a trilogy is testament to the author's savvy in the publishing world -- I don't think many others could have accomplished this -- even if they were in the league in the mysterious mole men.
