The master of suspense returns with the third installment in the critically acclaimed saga of Odd Thomas. Odd Thomas has left the perfect quirky comfort of Pico Mundo to embrace the solitude and peace of an isolated monastery high in the western mountains. Not as good as the first, but way better than the second. This book definitely goes in a very different direction than the first two, but the new characters introduced and a stronger focus on an original character (Elvis) really make this book a treat. The ending was a little disappointing and i felt Dean Koontz was going a little to far towards a realm better written by Micheal Crichton.
