I loved it. One of my favorite books ever.

Reminiscent of Holly Black's "Valiant." Quirky, unique, and sometimes poetic, but a bit raw and grungy for my taste. After a hard-to-waddle-through intro the book picks up and remains engaging, but the plot turns and the finale, I found a bit hard to swallow.

This was a somewhat strange (in a good way) book to read. Ultimately I enjoyed it, but I still have a general sense of "huh?" too. Recommend for older/mature teens because of language, sexual content, and other mature themes.

I don't know what led me to pick up this book in the first place, but I did. Worst. Mistake. Ever. Sinclair is just some freakish creeper that sleeps with everyone, Pen is an idiot for obvious reasons, and I'd like Dice more if she didn't love the said freakish creeper and somehow in her mind come up with reasons why this is all natural. Note to self; if your cousin becomes possessed by a horny ghost, send her to the whacky shack.

I, for one, thought the book was very nicely written. Sure, there were some confusing parts inside it, but overall, I think it was great. You just have to be commited to reading it and just hope that it clicks with you in order to get to the end of it so you can actually enjoy it.

Gee whiz kittens. Aside from the rubbish comments of the other users who've read this book ('respectfully') I actually LOVE this novel. High five KaylaTomkiewicz! Malkins' writing style was gorgeous-the story ran at a proper pace, and the events of the story were unique and memorable.

Agree with comments made that the storyline/scenes were quite confusing at times and it just didn't live up to the write up on the inside jacket cover. I am more disapointed that I actually read it to the end and didn't like that either. Overall if you're thinking of reading it - just pass and find something better.

Contrary to other's comments, I loved this book. The slightly confusing scenes sort of portrayed how Dice was feeling in the book. It was from a first-person viewpoint, so I think the book was very well layed out, according to the character's perspective. It wouldn't have been realistic if it had more details.
