Two kids with the same name were born blocks apart in the same decaying city within a year of each other. One grew up to be a Rhodes Scholar, army officer, White House Fellow, and business leader. The other is serving a life sentence in prison. Here is the story of two boys and the journey of a generation.

I highly recommend this audiobook. It gives good insight to growing up in an inner-city neighborhood.

It's just another example of how having people in your life who can help, will help you get further in life. One Wes Moore had family that could help financially to get him into a private school and away from the streets, the other Wes Moore didn't. I hate to lay it out so black and white, but in my opinion, that's what it came down to because both are very intelligent men, one just had a helping hand.
