The moment I read the inside cover of this book I was intrigued. The setting reminded me of my own neighbourhood but the characters couldn't be farther from that of my own neighbors. I was interested to read on, meet everyone living on the square and find out about their lives, their past and what the future had in store for them. I surprised myself by thinking that if this community existed in real life, I would definitely want a little piece of it. The ending wraps the story up (which I appreciate) but the conclusion isn't forced or rushed.
