Director Carroll Ballard is a master with a children's movie that we adults turn out to enjoy as well. "Fly Away Home" is about a 13 year old orphan girl and her estranged father who adopt a flock of baby geese. All are going to learn some valuable life lessons. The cinematography, as with all Carroll Ballard films, is excellent. The film takes us on a beautiful journey your not likely to forget. Outstanding film for the whole family. P.S. 1/2/20 I have returned to remind the world of KCLS that Carroll Ballard made this wonderful film that is over looked by so many. It will remain one of the finest family movies ever made!!
