This is a fantastic book about how millionaires live their lives, and how you can be a millionaire too. I figure if you want to be something, you study what you want to be, so I study millionaires--this is a good book for that.... Hogan's Everyday Millionaire is very similar to Stanley's The Millionaire Next Door (this has been stated in many forums), information wise. However, Hogan's book is more inspirational, more GET TO IT!!!, and easier to digest, less facts and figures. I read this book straight through without stopping. Definitely got me on the right track, even if it is repetitive advice. Main idea: there is no get rich quick scheme, it takes time, patience and planning. The keys, from what I gathered, are 401(k) and other retirement funds, living frugally, well below your means, having no debt, and saving at every possible chance... Everyday Millionaire is a wonderful book, HUGE inspiration and testament that ANYONE, ANYWHERE at ANYTIME, especially in America, can become wealthy if they work hard and stick to a plan and stop making excuses. It certainly has motivated me.
