Story Club at the White River Valley Museum: The Matchbox Diary
Join Children's Librarian Robbin and White River Valley Museum Educator Kassie to hear and discuss the story The Matchbox Diary by Paul Fleischman. Join the conversation! What do we do to save our memories? Why do we want to remember the past?
Then Kassie will share artifacts from the museum that show how important it is to know where we’ve come from and provide a craft activity for each child to record their memories and history.
Held at the White River Valley Museum, directly behind the Auburn Library, 918 H Street SE.
Ages 7 and older.
Please register by 3pm on Thursday, October 10.
Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event. Automated closed captioning is always available for online events.
